SEO Analysis
SEO Analysis helps you notice missing page information, access problems and content signals before they become difficult to investigate. Pintelly reports what it observed and offers a checklist; it does not edit your website or submit fixes to search engines.
Start using it
- Select the correct project and enable SEO Analysis in Project Settings.
- Confirm Pintelly is installed on the pages you want to inspect, and open a representative public page.
- Open SEO Insights, choose a period that includes the analysis and check the page's last-analysis date.
- Open a page or an issue to see the affected URL and supporting details. Fix the source page, then check an updated observation.
Plan access and project permissions apply. Analysis is not an immediate audit of every URL as soon as you switch it on.
How Pintelly observes your pages
Visitor view: when an eligible visitor opens a page, Pintelly checks the page as loaded in that visit. Supported in-site navigation can also trigger a check. Checks for the same project/page path are normally spaced by a 24-hour window; every refresh does not produce a new saved result. Different query strings do not make separate page-path checks.
PintellyBot view: Pintelly can separately visit public pages on a verified domain to check the response available without a visitor's login. It follows supported redirects and respects rules for PintellyBot in robots.txt. Automatic revisit timing adapts to whether pages change, so it is not a promise to check every page every day. Verify via PintellyBot requests a new check of the selected page; it may take time, and repeated requests have a cooldown.
These views can differ. A visitor may see account content or content loaded after the initial page response; PintellyBot may instead see a login screen, redirect or incomplete page. A successful bot check confirms that Pintelly could inspect that response, not that Google has indexed the page.
What the checks mean
| Area | What Pintelly looks for | What you can review |
|---|---|---|
| Title and description | Missing values and length signals | Whether they describe this specific page; Pintelly flags titles below 30 or above 60 characters and descriptions below 70 or above 160 when applicable. These are product checks, not guaranteed search display limits. |
| Headings | Main heading and heading structure | Whether headings match the page topic and organize sections meaningfully |
| Images and links | Alternative text, image dimensions and link context | Whether useful images have descriptions and links are understandable; review decorative images in context |
| Canonical, language and language alternatives | Presence and consistency signals | Whether the preferred URL and intended language match the page |
| Structured data | Readable data and selected completeness checks | Whether the reported type and fields describe your actual content; a pass does not guarantee a rich search result |
| Access and indexing signals | noindex, robots rules, sitemap and redirects | Whether the page is intended to be public and discoverable |
| Content and performance | Content volume, repetition, readability and available load measurements | Whether the page meets its purpose and loads acceptably for the measured users |
Readability and language signals are approximate, especially across languages. Short content or an unusual structure can be appropriate for a product page, tool or account screen. Do not expand or rewrite useful content solely to remove a warning.
Read scores and recommendations
The 0–100 score and A–F grade summarize selected checks. A lower score points you toward issues to review; it is not a search-ranking prediction. Not every warning changes the score: content-quality/readability signals are currently informational, and noindex itself is not a score deduction. Pages identified as login-protected or blocked for the bot can be excluded from the site average; check coverage as well as the average.
Prioritize issues according to the page's purpose: first check unexpected access restrictions and wrong destinations on pages that should be public, then missing page information and reported markup problems. Review AI-generated explanations against the linked evidence before acting; they summarize observations rather than making changes.
Mark Intentional records that a page's noindex setting is deliberate. It changes how Pintelly interprets that warning; it does not remove noindex or change robots.txt on your site. Keep private pages private.
Check a fix correctly
- Reloading the report displays currently available results; it does not force a new website observation.
- Resync scores recalculates the overview from available observations; it does not fetch every page again.
- Verify via PintellyBot requests a fresh public-page check. Wait for the check result and timestamp, rather than treating request acceptance as completion.
- Visitor-page checks depend on a later eligible page visit and the analysis window. Text analysis also depends on consent and whether content has changed.
Use analysis history to compare observations. Connect Google Search Console in Settings → Integrations to review actual search impressions, clicks, CTR and positions alongside page findings. Connecting it does not change your site's content or indexing settings.
When a result is missing or unexpected
| Observation | Next step |
|---|---|
| No page result | Check installation, SEO setting, project/domain verification for bot checks, selected period and whether the page has been observed |
| Old result after an edit | Check its timestamp; use a bot verification for a public-page check and allow the visitor-analysis window to elapse |
| Bot blocked or unreachable | Review robots rules, security challenges, rate limits and the URL's availability; allow legitimate analysis of intended public pages without disabling your general protections |
| Login screen or unexpected redirect | Confirm the public destination and redirect rules; do not provide account credentials to make a private page pass |
| Missing detailed text analysis | Check consent and availability of page content; basic checks can exist without detailed text analysis |
| Search Console data missing | Check the connected account/property, selected period and available data |
PintellyBot identifies itself as PintellyBot/1.0 (+https://pintelly.com/bot). This is useful when reviewing access logs or bot rules; the name alone is not proof that a request is trustworthy.
