Surveys
Use a survey to ask a focused question on the relevant page, then compare responses with how often the survey appeared. A survey collects answers; it does not identify the visitor or change your page content.
Prepare and publish
- Create a draft in Surveys and name it for your team.
- Add single-choice, multiple-choice, 1–5 rating, NPS (0–10) or text questions. Decide which are required. Add English/Turkish translations if needed.
- Set the page-path pattern and display delay.
/checkout*matches paths starting with/checkout; an empty pattern applies to every page. Target the point where visitors have enough context to answer. - Activate it and test the flow in a browser that has not completed or dismissed that survey. Pause it to stop future displays.
How Pintelly behaves
Questions appear one at a time; required answers must be supplied to continue. A matching survey is selected after the configured delay. If several match, the first eligible survey is selected rather than showing all of them together.
Completion or dismissal is remembered in that browser. Clearing local storage or using another browser/device can make the survey eligible again. When local storage is unavailable, Pintelly avoids displaying surveys because it cannot reliably suppress repeats. Updating an existing survey does not necessarily make it reappear to people who already handled it.
Responses contain answers, page path and time rather than an analytics identity. Optional text answers can still contain personal information volunteered by visitors; phrase questions accordingly.
Read the results
Review impressions, submissions, response rate, choice counts, rating distributions and text answers. Response rate uses survey impressions, not total site visits. Multiple-choice totals can exceed the number of respondents because a person can choose more than one option.
NPS is the percentage scoring 9–10 minus the percentage scoring 0–6; 7–8 are passive. Export CSV when you need to review individual answers elsewhere. A small or selectively targeted sample describes those respondents, not automatically your whole audience.
If it does not appear
Check active status, matching page path, delay, prior completion/dismissal in that browser, local storage availability and plan access. If results are empty, confirm a submission completed successfully; seeing the survey is an impression, not an answer.
