Heatmaps

Not a table of numbers — a visual map overlaid directly on your own site: where visitors click, and what's never touched at all.

A table of click counts by element ID doesn't tell you anything at a glance. Heatmaps overlay every recorded click directly on your real, rendered page, so you can see at a glance where attention concentrates and what's never touched at all — no squinting at a spreadsheet.

Every click on every page is captured automatically, with no per-page setup, and you can switch between desktop and mobile views to see whether attention shifts depending on screen size.

What you get

Live click heatmap

See the hottest-clicked areas highlighted directly on your real site — learn where your design is actually drawing attention.

Device breakdown

Compare desktop and mobile visitor behavior side by side.

How it works

1

Clicks are recorded silently

Every click on every page is logged with its exact position, without any extra setup per page.

2

See it overlaid on your real site

Open the heatmap for any URL and see a live overlay on the actual rendered page, not a static screenshot.

3

Compare desktop and mobile

Switch device view to see whether attention concentrates in different places depending on screen size.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to mark elements to track?+

No — every clickable element on the page is captured automatically; there's nothing to instrument by hand.

Does the heatmap update in real time?+

It reflects all clicks recorded for that page, refreshed as new data comes in — not a one-time snapshot.

Can I see heatmaps for pages behind a login?+

Yes — as long as the script is present on the page, authenticated pages are tracked the same way as public ones.

What's the difference between this and session replay?+

A heatmap aggregates every visitor's clicks into one picture; session replay shows one visitor's entire session in order. Use the heatmap to spot patterns, replay to understand one specific case.
